Great Melton Old Rectory

Great Melton Old Rectory is a family home. We host only a small number of weddings each year which means we can ensure that you feel at home on the day, and that your wedding is individual and special.

We only have limited availability for 2026.

You can choose to have your ceremony, your reception or your whole day here.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.

Our dedicated team are here to help you create your perfect day. We will ensure that the most important day of your lives is organised professionally, leaving you, your family and friends to relax and enjoy the day.

Your ceremony can take place in the house's splendid former Dining Room which has a capacity of 60 or in the woodland glade which can accommodate up to 250 guests.

The Bridal Room is available for the bride and bridesmaids to change in and for the couple to stay the night.

The Dressing Room is available for hair and makeup for the bride and bridesmaids.

The Study is available for the Groom and supporters to change in.

The secluded and tranquil gardens are large and varied providing beautiful settings for your photographs. We can also provide a camping area for your guests, and there is space for campervans.

We understand that budgets for weddings vary greatly and we will work with you to tailor-make your wedding day.

We are currently revising our prices. Please get in touch to find out more.

We love the peace and tranquility of our environment, and so do our neighbours. Because of this we have a 80dB limit on music, and all music must end at midnight.

Your celebrations don’t have to cost the earth. We can work with you on sustainable and environmentally friendly options.
