Hartley Arts Group will be performing “There Goes The Bride” by Ray Cooney and John Chapman at the end of May. I have been asked to provide the wedding dress. I will be posting occasional updates on the progress of the dress so that you can find out what is involved in making a dress. The first stage is the design. This play was first performed in 1973, so I had a look through my stash of vintage patterns and came up with Style 3921. The girl playing the part of the bride has a fabulously curvy figure, so I have chosen View 3. The full sleeves will complement her curves.
